Description and application:
The flap is a completing component in the installation of a chimney. It allows you to connect the roof or covering of the building to the chimney, making the junction area waterproof from rainwater infiltration. It is built for both flat roofs and roofs with a slope of up to 60°. The flap cone is produced in stainless steel or copper. The pitch is produced in annealed aluminum with a thickness of 6/10 which makes it very malleable during the assembly phase on roof coverings. It must be correlated with the flashing (Art. 3030) for correct assembly and sealing of the flue passage area
Installation:
The installation of the terminal must be carried out by qualified personnel.
