Description and application:
The Elementi chimney cap is of particularly pleasing design. It guarantees the free emission of combustion fumes, especially those with tar and sooty residues from wood stove flues. This isachieved by means of ample slits between one element and the other to prevent easy blockage. It functions effectively even in torrential rain or high wind. On the square base model (Art.1290) both the stainless steel and the copper are 0.8 mm in thickness. On request, it is also possible to have a version which can be 'inspected'. In this case the top element, instead of being welded on, is fixed into place by steel bolts so that the flue can easily be inspected from above without having to remove the cap itself
Installation:
Install on the terminal part ofthe chimney flue. Fix by meansof a flue clamp. Do not use a silicon sealant only. Installation of the chimney cap must be carried out by qualified personnel.
