Description and application:
The Mantello chimney cap protects the smoke flue from infiltration by rain water and snow whilst allowing the free emission of smoke even in the presence of high wind.
Available for Single Wall flue pipes, both male and female, and for Double Wall flue pipes
25 mm insulation. On request it is possible to produce the cap for Double Wall with 50 mm
insulation
Installation:
Install on the terminal part of the chimney flue. Fix by means of a flue clamp. Do not use a silicon sealant only. Installation of the chimney cap must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Note for square base MAT: Fix appropriately to the construction material of the square or rectangular flue (e.g. in the case of a brick flue use wall plugs on all four sides) do not use a silicon sealant only.
